When Santa's overachieving canine Chief of Staff falls from the sleigh and out of his animated universe into the live-action real world, he forms an unexpected bond with a military family navigating separation and change, only to face an impossible choice when Santa arrives to bring him home. A Dog’s Purpose meets Elf.
Santa’s Dog is a 104-page live-action / animation family feature based on my award-winning children’s book by the same name. Structured in the vein of Princess Bride to parallel the book as it’s read, the Santa’s Dog screenplay is a heartwarming coming-of-age story that reminds us the greatest gifts aren't wrapped.
